According to the Kremlin website, Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated Aleskandar Vucic after his convincing victory in the Serbian presidential election.
"I expect that your work at the helm of the state will continue to contribute to the strengthening of strategic partnership relations that exist between our two countries. This is undoubtedly in the interest of the brotherly peoples of Russia and Serbia," Putin stressed in his congratulatory message.
The president of the Russian Federation sent a telegram of congratulations to Aleksandar Vucic after his convincing victory in the presidential elections in the Republic of Serbia, the message reads, RIA Novosti reports.
The president of Russia wrote that the results of the elections confirm the broad support of the citizens of Serbia for Aleksandar Vucic's course aimed at "solving urgent social and economic problems and pursuing an independent foreign policy."
