Vucic offers his condolences to the families of coal miners who died this morning
No one can repay them enough for all the hard days and nights when they worked to the benefit of all of us, but we will do everything to provide all the necessary help to their loved ones, and the injured colleagues in these most difficult moments, and I wish them a speedy recovery," Vucic wrote in his message of condolences to the families of the miners killed in the accident at the Soko coal mine
President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has sent a telegram of condolences to the families of the miners who died in the accident in the Soko coal mine this morning.
"I was deeply shaken by the terrible news about the tragic death of our miners in the Soko mine. Their honorable profession, one of the most difficult in the world, has always required people of a special caliber: brave, persistent, strong and unwavering. It is precisely their daily work and self-sacrifice that have always been the core and backbone of our country's entire development, and that is why Serbia today especially mourns the loss of their lives, because there are no words of consolation in such a tragedy.
No one can repay them enough for all the hard days and nights when they worked to the benefit of all of us, but we will do everything to provide all the necessary help to their loved ones, and the injured colleagues in these most difficult moments, and I wish them a speedy recovery.
I express my deepest condolences to the families, friends and fellow citizens of our miners who perished. May they rest in peace, Serbia will not and must not forget them," Vucic wrote.
