Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has expressed his concerns about the war in Ukraine.

"The situation is difficult and it's very important that we continue to work in order to improve the economy. Every night and every morning I first look at the stock markets and the situation on the battlefield. And I know there is no hope yet. I think I know what Putin is waiting for. The war has its regularities on both sides and now I see that it will not happen soon. Does that worry me? Well, of course it worries me," said Vucic.

He said it scared him when US President Joseph Biden said the war would last five years.

"People usually underestimate Biden, while it scared me when he said that the war would last for five years. I know Biden, and he is perfectly prepared for every meeting and conversation.

Few have preparation like Americans. As for the regime change, that is what Americans have been doing and will continue to do that, that is not news. But when Biden says this is going to be a long war...

That is a sentence uttered by someone who has looked at the reports of all services, and only then said it. If US services say that, then it's very serious and that worries me. I think there is no one who isn't," said Vucic.
