The Commission for the Political System of the Government of Montenegro, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic, unanimously adopted a package of sanctions against Russia, which was previously adopted by the Council of the European Union.
Among other things, the sanctions apply to 696 Russian citizens as well as financial institutions, property, trade and distribution of goods...
The list includes Russian President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, President of the Russian Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov, and former Russian President and current Vice President of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev.
The list also includes Igor Sechin, chief executive of Russia's state oil company Rosneft, and Nikolai Tokarev, chief executive of Russia's oil and gas company Transneft.
