Ukrainian soldiers serving in the KFOR peacekeeping force in Kosovo and Metohija are returning to Ukraine after all, after the president of that country, Vladimir Zelensky, ordered the withdrawal of troops from all peacekeeping missions around the world in order to strengthen the Ukrainian army, Klan Kosova reported.

The video broadcast by the media shows Ukrainian KFOR vehicles leaving Kosovo, but it is not yet known how many soldiers are leaving, reports Kosovo Online.

On Monday, Ukrainian President Zelensky ordered the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from all peacekeeping missions around the world in order to strengthen the Ukrainian army.

A contingent of 40 Ukrainian soldiers has served in Kosovo as part of the KFOR mission.
