Novak to remain behind Medvedev for another week and then return to the top, changes on the ATP top 10 list
Djokovic will briefly be the 2nd-ranked tennis player in the world
Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic is in second place of the new ATP list with 8,465 points, behind Russia's Daniil Medvedev, who is currently number one with 8,615 points.
This drop of the Serbian to the second place is temporary, because after a fresh round of "deletion" of points, next week, Novak will return to the top spot of ATP rankings.
When it comes to other tennis players, there have beeen changes in the top 10. Alexander Zverev is now third, followed by Nadal and Tsitsipas. Italian Matteo Berrettini is in sixth, followed by Russian Andrei Rublev, Norwegian Casper Ruud, and Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime. Another Italian, Jannik Sinner has entered the top 10 while Pole Hubert Hurkacz dropped to 11th.
Other Serbian tennis players Filip Krajinovic and Dusan Lajovic have climbed up one place each, to 40th and 41st, and have 1,212 and 1,216 points respectively.
Laslo Jere dropped by three places to 52nd with 1,041 points, wile Miomir Kecmanovic lost five places and is now the 61st player in the world with 921 points.
