This is Red Star stadium's south stand after Belgrade football derby: Here's the damage done by Partizan fans
Red Star Stadium is in scars after the 166th championship match played between Red Star and Partizan
Although the 166th "eternal" Belgrade football derby passed relatively peacefully and without major incidents during the game itself, the breaking and burning of seats was again seen in the south stand.
A day after the derby, we checked out what the stadium looks like after Partizan fans went on a rampage breaking and burning a large number of seats in the south stand (after their team lost the game 2-0).
The photos show that a large number of seats are missing in several places in the stand, as well in the part on the east stand close to the South, where a different faction of Partizan fans had gathered.
As we have learned, over 2,500 stadium seats have been broken. The price of one chair is 10 euros, so the damage comes to around 25,000.
In the past, the clubs would invoice these costs to the rival, and it is possible that this time as well Partizan FC will receive a request to pay for the damage done to the Red Star stadium by its supporters.
Check out some of the photos showing the state of the stadium on Monday, as well as what it was like during the derby as Partizan supporters were setting seats on fire:
