The third meeting of Serbia's Council for National Security this week, which will discuss the situation in the region and in Ukraine, will be held today starting at 4 pm, and in the evening, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic will address the public and present Serbia's position on the Ukrainian crisis.

Vucic will make his address between 6 and 8 pm, it was confirmed for Tanjug from the Presidency earlier.

On Thursday, the president of Serbia chaired the Council for National Security and exchanged information with the members of the Council regarding the situation in the region and in Ukraine, and he then attended a session of the Government of Serbia.

Vucic also spoke about the crisis in Ukraine with Quint (five Western countries) ambassadors and the head of the EU Delegation to Serbia, and had consultations with many presidents and prime ministers from around the world, so that Serbia could make the best decisions in accordance with its own national interests.

Our state is preparing a precise document that will define the position and policies of Serbia.

Serbia is also preparing urgent measures for the economy due to the crisis in Ukraine, it has been confirmed for Telegraf.rs.

Reports yesterday afternoon recalled that President Vucic has been saying in previous days that Serbia's position on current tensions in the world is principled, that is, that we respect international law and, as a small country, are maintaining a "neutral position."
