Novak Djokovic will start his season this evening (after 5:30 pm) on the courts of the tournament in Dubai, whose organizers have shown this time as well that they are happy to welcome the best tennis player in the world.

Posters and billboards with Novak's image are a frequent occurrence in the city, especially in the complex of the Dubai Free Duty, some 10 minutes drive from the airport.

What's interesting that there are two Serbian flags displayed at the main stadium: one with the coat of arms (state flag), and the other the pure tricolor (people's flag), while other participants' countries are represented with only one flag on the central court.

The whole complex is full of nice little cafes, and is dominated by an Irish pub, that features "a cardboard Novak."

The heat started already at around nine in the morning, and while Djokovic will go after the title before real summer begins here, it's tgood that he will play his opening match against the Italian Lorenzo Musetti in the evening. The tournament's prize money is around 2,974,840 dollars, and the matches are played on a hard court.
