Speaking about the accident that happened in Ivanjica in which Andjela DJ. (17) died, Aleksandar Radenkovic from the Traffic Police Administration says that a series of wrong decisions led to the accident.

"First, in Arilje, a driver was excluded from traffic due to alcohol intoxication. Then a person without a driver's license who was also under the influence of alcohol took over driving and caused the traffic accident. The price was paid for by a 17-year-old girl who was in the back seat," Radenkovic told RTS.

He mentioned that in the latest police operation, 1,400 buses and 14,000 trucks were checked, of which 626 buses, as well as almost 9,000 trucks violated the rules, which is a worryingly high percentage.

According to him, most of these violations had to do with drivers staying behind the wheel for too long at a time.

When it comes to the coming agricultural season, when the number of tractors on the roads increases, he said that the most important thing is that they must be in proper working condition and display yellow rotating light at night. He noted that where tractors take part in accidents, the consequences are usually most serious.
