Taxi driver Milorad A. (61) was brutally beaten last night near the Kalenic market in Belgrade and received minor bodily injuries. The attacker knocked the taxi driver to the ground and proceeded to hit him relentlessly.

"A colleague has been ruthlessly attacked in his work place. He was leaving the taxi station on a call, when that hooligan crashed into his car. The colleague explained to him that the vehicle was busy, but he did not want to leave and did not believe that the taxi driver had received a call. Then they went together to the place where the customer that ordered the cab was waiting. When he saw that, he pulled the taxi driver out of the car and started hitting him," Aleksandar Bijelic, president of the Auto-Taxi Associations of Serbia, told Telegraf.rs.

As far as is known, the taxi driver suffered minor bodily injuries. Colleagues are yet to hear from him and check his condition because he is still asleep, probably because he is under sedation.
