Vucic will tomorrow meet with the Chinese president for the seventh time

President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic has landed in China, where he is on a two-day working visit, during which he will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping and attend the opening of the Winter Olympic Games.

Today, on the first day of the visit, Vucic will attend the opening ceremony of the 24th Winter Olympic Games in Beijing.

The president of Serbia will then attend a reception organized by the Chinese President for the visiting heads of state and international organizations, and among the guests will be Russian President Vladimir Putin, President of the World Health Organization Tedros Ghebreyesus, and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

On the second day of the visit, on Saturday, Vucic will meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping, which will be their seventh meeting.

The last time Vucic and Xi talked was in September 2019 in Beijing, when the president of Serbia participated in a Belt and Road summit, recalls Tanjug.

In the meantime, the two leaders spoke by phone twice, and President Vucic also took part in a 17 +1 video summit last year, organized by China and 17 Central and Eastern European countries.
