"A note was sent from the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to the Embassy of Montenegro in the Russian Federation on February 2. It prohibits the entry into the Russian Federation of State Secretary in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Montenegro Zoran Miljanic," said an official statement, TASS reports.
"This measure is a response to the hostile move of the Montenegrin authorities, which in October 2021 granted political asylum to Telman Ismailov, a citizen of the Russian Federation, who is on Interpol's wanted list for committing particularly serious crimes in the Russian Federation," the Russian ministry said.
