Electricity consumption in Serbia increases as cold wave grips the country

Electricity imports amounted to 809 megawatts

The consumption of electricity in our country has increased due to the cold weather, and at around 10 o'clock this morning it amounted to 5,880 megawatts.
According to data from Elektromreze Srbije ("Electric Grid of Serbia") company's app Energy Flux, the planned consumption at the time of measuring was 5,827 MW, so there has been a deviation of minus 0.9 percent.
Electricity imports amounted to 809 megawatts, while the planned level was 810 MWs. According to this data, domestic energy capacities produce 4,993 MWs of electricity.
When it comes to electricity production in the country, thermal capacities produce 2,847 MWs, hydro power plants 2,060 MWs, wind farms nine megawatts and gas plants 77 megawatts.
