Self-Determination parliamentary group in Pristina against Serbian elections in Kosovo and Metohija

When it comes to the elections scheduled for April 3 in Serbia, I think that what happened with the resolution adopted in the (Kosovo) Assembly related to the referendum (on constitutional changes) is a practice that should be continued - said the head of the Self-Determination parliamentary group Mimoza Kusari Lila

The head of the Self-Determination parliamentary group, Mimoza Kusari Lila, said today that the same practice should be applied for the Serbian elections on April 3 in Kosovo as during the recent referendum on changes to the Serbian Constitution, writes Reporteri.

"When it comes to the elections scheduled for April 3 in Serbia, I think that what happened with the resolution adopted in the (Kosovo) Assembly related to the referendum (on constitutional changes) is a practice that should be continued," Mimoza Kusari Lila said after the Assembly's presidency met.

Kosovo should "guarantee its citizens with dual citizenship the election process either through the post office or the Belgrade Liaison Office in Pristina, but there is no return to the traditional organization of the Serbian elections process in Kosovo," Kusari Lila said.

She said that the Serb community in Kosovo and Metohija must understand that, as she stated, "the illusion that Kosovo is part of Serbia is over."
