Prosecutor reacts after death of politician's son: Suicide is suspected, no signs of foul play

The Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, together with members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, is conducting a procedure regarding the death of J.I., 24, who was found dead this morning in front of the building in Belgrade where he lived.

According to initial information, this was a suicide, Senior Public Prosecutor Nenad Stefanovic told Tanjug.

He explained that the police investigated the scene, and that no traces of violence or ransacking were noticed in the apartment where the now deceased young man was staying.

Stefanovic stressed that the Ministry of the Interior and the Prosecution will take other actions in order to clarify all the facts and circumstances related to the event in question, about which the public will be informed in a timely manner.
