Serbia's Dusan Lajovic achieved a great victory in the first round of the Australian Open, when he defeated Martin Fuscovics of Hungary (3-2). Lajovic thus avenged Novak Djokovic, who was banned by the Australian authorities from participating and defending his Australian Open title, and was deported from the country after 11 days of torture.

The revenge was twofold, because Lajovic defeated one of Novak's biggest haters, who has treated Djokovic poorly during the final days of the saga of detention and court hearings.

Ahead of the match, Lajovic also made an in-your-face gesture towards Australia, as a reaction to what the country's authorities did to Novak.

Lajovic stood in the middle of the court holding up the Serbian flag with the image of Novak Djokovic printed on it, which also had the inscription:

"LIKE IT OR NOT GREATEST OF ALL TIME."

In the second round, Lajovic will play against the 31st seed Carlos Alcaraz from Spain.

Lajovic arrived in Australia with his girlfriend Lidija Mikic, who was recently named the best student in Serbia, with an average grade of 10 at the Medical Faculty in Belgrade.

There's no need to talk much about her beauty, either, as you can see in the gallery.
