"Geyser" in Belgrade was a dozen meters high: Water gushed in all directions

Water flowed down all the surrounding streets

This morning, residents in Belgrade's Vracar municipality woke up to a scene they wouldn't like to see even in the summer. A hydrant in Makenzijeva Street had burst, and a high jet of water, similar to a geyser, was erupting from it.

The jet was about ten meters high. At one point, it was taller than a nearby building.

Water flowed down all the surrounding streets.

The video shows a broken hydrant and water gushing in all directions and flowing down the street.
