Former Serbian national team member arrested: He beat up taxi driver, went wild in kindergarten
This is about Dragan Labovic, who played in the 2007 European Championship
Former member of Serbia's national basketball team Dragan Labovic has been arrested because of a clash he had with a taxi driver in Belgrade!
Namely, as has been unofficially confirmed for Telegraf, Labovic physically attacked the taxi driver, then took his car and money, and continued his rampage in the suburb of Zeleznik in a kindergarten where his mother works. As we have learned, the prosecutor has been informed and Labovic will be put on trial for the crime of theft.
Labovic finished his basketball career in 2019, and what's interesting is that he was also arrested that summer because he caused chaos at a swimming pool in Ovca. Sources at the time said that Labovic, after having a few beers, started breaking bottles, swearing and insulting a certain Lazar M. (25).
"I'll f**k your mother, I'll burn everything you have, you little c***t, suck my c**k," the former basketball player was allegedly shouting, after which the young man called the police, who quickly arrived at the scne.
Labovic in the past played for FMP, from where he went on to build his career in Germany, Greece, Russia, Turkey, Poland, Romania and Finland. He was a member of the Serbian national team in 2007, when the squad was led at that year's EuroBasket by head coach Zoran Moka Slavnic.
