Members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Belgrade arrested Pakistani citizens H.A. (1990), A.B. (1997) and R.I.U. (1990) in a quick and efficient operation, on suspicion that they committed the crime of kidnapping.

They are charged with offering accommodation to two Indian citizens at the main bus station in Belgrade, and then taking them to an apartment in the Palilula municipality, where the young men were abused as the suspected kidnappers tried to extort money from them.
It is suspected that the Pakistani citizens demanded that the victims call their friends and relatives and ask them to pay ransom.
The suspects have been detained for up to 30 days.
