"Belgrade board unanimous in wanting Vucic to remain SNS party leader"
Ana Brnabic says that a report to citizens has been prepared for tomorrow's meeting of the SNS party's Assembly, which presents everything this party has done since it took over the responsibility for running the country
Ana Brnabic has said that the leadership of the party will be elected tomorrow at the Assembly of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), and that in Belgrade, where she is the commissioner of the city board of the Progressives, members voted unanimously in favor of Aleksandar Vucic remaining the president of the SNS.
"Vucic wants to encourage a generational shift with his example, but I think that now is not the time for that," Brnabic told TV Pink and added that the party must remain strong in order to complete all the work ahead of it.
She said that a report to citizens has been prepared for tomorrow's meeting of the SNS party's Assembly, which presents everything this party has done since it took over the responsibility for running the country.
According to her, the report contains data on the number of people who have found jobs in large companies that have come to Serbia, as well as an overview of what has been built in Serbia.
She mentioned Belgrade Waterfront, the Sava Promenade and Sava Square, which completely changed the appearance of the part of Belgrade where they are located.
Ahead of today's presentation of the SNS program principles, the prime minister pointed out that the Progressives have a clear vision of what should be done by 2030.
She said that the party is carrying out reforms in accordance with the goal set by President Aleksandar Vucic, which is to go for a gradually generational change.
In that sense, she stated that the SNS has a lot of young MPs, that it has an academy of young leaders and that it pays a lot of attention to gender equality, which results in women being at the helm of some municipalities and cities in Serbia.
