Today, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) adopted the proposal of the Crisis HQ on introducing new epidemiological measures from December 20. The biggest change will be the so-called VPT rule - proof that people have been either "vaccinated, recovered, or tested."

It was stressed that the measures will be introduced gradually.

According to the new proposal, all employees in the health sector, social, public administrations, governments, and municipalities will have to meet one of the three conditions of the VPT in order to be able to perform work in the workplace.

If they do not meet the VPT, the employer will decide on the further work process, writes Klix.

By December 20, the cantons will need to prepare all procedures in order to smoothly implement new measures in the fight against coronavirus.

"Those who do not want to be vaccinated should get tested at their own expense or have a confirmation that they had recovered from coronavirus. These conclusions task the Institute of Public Health to make expert guidelines regarding testing intervals, whether this concerns PCR antigen tests, and then for how long after vaccination it is necessary to seek confirmation," said Marina Bera, assistant at the Federal Ministry of Health.

She said the measures would be introduced gradually.
