Pristina sabotages dialogue, accuses Belgrade for failure of talks. Kurti's man: ZSO won't be formed
There will be no Community of Serb Municipalities (ZSO), and if that was the reason why they voted for the Serb List, then citizens got manipulated - says Pristina's chief negotiator in the Brussels dialogue
Deputy PM of the so-called government of Kosovo and the chief negotiator of the Pristina team in the Brussels dialogue with Serbia Besnik Bislimi says that the Community of Serb Municipalities will not be formed, reports Koha.
Bislimi said that Serbs were manipulated if they voted for the Serb List because of that this time as well.
"It is up to political subjects to take care of the promises made and their fulfillment. The Serb List can make those promises, it made them in 2017, but it did not fulfill them. If this time they promised something about the formation of the ZSO, I can remind citizens what they said in 2017 and tell them that it is the same Serb List. There will be no Community of Serb Municipalities, and if that was the reason why they voted for the Serb List, then citizens got manipulated," said Bislimi.
Bislimi said that if the Community of Serb Municipalities is a good method, then it should be applied to Albanians in Serbia as well.
"There can be no mono-ethnic association. If we conclude that this is the best modality, then Serbia should apply it to Albanians in Serbia as well. Show us that her concern for the citizens of Serbia is not part of their mathematics to make Kosovo functional, but the product of their belief in the need to promote the rights of minorities, which means that they should set the same example," Bislimi believes.
Assessing the local elections held on Sunday, the vice president of Self-Determination said that the turnout of Serb citizens in the municipalities in the north was not real.
"The turnout in Serb municipalities is artificial. While in the southern municipalities the turnout by 11 am was 6 percent, there it was 30 percent. We have not proven how that happens, the problem is that the election commission has failed to ensure the credibility of the electoral system in all municipalities. We have no guarantee that the same people were not voting in every municipality, because we cannot electronically monitor every movement of citizens," Bislimi concluded.
