Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic congratulated the Serb List on the victory in yesterday's local elections in Kosovo and Metohija in all ten municipalities with a Serb majority.

"The Serb people in Kosovo and Metohija have once again shown what unity, faith and courage mean. Despite all the pressure and attacks they are exposed to on a daily basis, they have remained consistent in their policy of peace. Democratic and smart politics have won. I congratulate the Serb List and all our people in Kosovo and Metohija on their dignity, courage and perseverance. Your politics and your strength are a signpost for all of us how one fights for one's country," stated the message of Prime Minister Brnabic.

Mayors were elected in 17 municipalities during yesterday's local elections in Kosovo and Metohija, while citizens in 21 municipalities will elect mayors in the second round of voting.

Candidates from the Serb List won in all 10 municipalities with a Serb majority, said the president of the Serb List, Goran Rakic.

The Self-Determination of the prime minister of the Provisional Institutions of Pristina, Albin Kurti, failed to win in any municipality in the first round.
