The two presidents will discuss the problems in Kosovo and Metohija, the price of gas and the current gas crisis in Europe.
Serbia buys natural gas from Russia at a price of 270 dollars for 1,000 cubic meters, while gas prices on the stock exchanges currently range between 1,000 and 2,000 dollars. It is expected that a new agreement will also allow Serbia to receive gas supplies at a favorable price.
The president of Serbia previously met with Putin last year, when he attended a military parade marking the 75th anniversary of victory over fascism in World War II.
