Driver with 2.26 permilles of blood alcohol caught in Valjevo: 30 days in jail, and a fine of 120K

During regular traffic control, Valjevo traffic police discovered a driver who had 2.26 permilles of alcohol in his blood.

As announced, the police stopped an Opel Astra with a 59-year-old man behind the wheel, who had 2.26 permilles of alcohol in his blood.The incident happened in Djerdapska Street, Kurir.rs reports.

The driver was excluded from traffic and detained for aggressive driving, and after that, he was taken to the Misdemeanor Court in Valjevo under urgent procedure.

The driver was sentenced to 30 days in prison, fined 120,000 dinars, has been banned for nine months from driving a motor vehicle, and received 15 penalty points.
