Almost a ton of Indian hemp on plantation near Arandjelovac: Police came as plants were watered

The police found the suspects as they were watering the plants

Through intensive operative work the police in Kragujevac discovered 510 Indian hemp plants, weighing about 900 kilograms, and arrested N.N. (27) from Arandjelovac and M.B. (39) from Obrenovac.

It is suspected that N.N. and M.B. planted and cultivated Indian hemp in a village near Arandjelovac, while the police found them while they watering the plants, the Kragujevac Police Administration announced.

On suspicion that they committed the criminal offense of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics, the suspects were detained for up to 48 hours, after which they will be brought before a prosecutor along with a criminal complaint.
