Tragedy that could have occurred due to the damage to oxygen supply pipes for patients was narrowly avoided at the Clinical Center in Tetovo, this health institution announced today.
This happened in the night between Monday and Tuesday, but fortunately there were no patients on oxygen at that time, reports the Macedonian portal Telma.
It was reported that the pipes were damaged by physical force, i.e. that one pipe for compressed air was torn, and the other used for nitric oxide was bent.
An investigation has been launched, and the hospital says tragedy was prevented because the pipes are not connected to the wards where Covid patients are treated.
