Dragan Bjelogrlic has been arrested and detained for up to 48 hours, Telegraf.rs has learned.

Specifically, it was Vladimir Stanojevic, the deputy Nis Public Prosecutor, who ordered the up to 48 hours detention for violent behavior.

Bjelogrlic physically attacked Predrag Gaga Antonijevic last night, in the Ambassador Hotel in the city of Nis.

"He threatened me. He said all sorts of things. I made a detailed statement... all sorts of things. It was hysterical behavior, the man was not in his right mind.. He was with Katarina Radivojevic, he drank and whatever else had been done. He charged at me, I didn't even see him until he started hitting me. There's cameras, recordings, it's easy to see we didn't have any contact all evening, or anything! He attacked me for no reason," Antonijevic pointed out in his statement for Telegraf.rs.

He also said that Bjelorlic's alleged statements to the police that Antonijevic was provoking him all the time were incorrect.

"Absolutely incorrect! All the other witnesses speak differently. We had no visual or audio contact. Therefore, none. He was around a corner and I was on the other side. Not that that is just a lie, but it's an absolute lie, and the cameras will prove it. And witnesses. There is no philosophy here. It is now up to the Prosecutor's Office, I do not know how else to fight against criminals, except by law," explained Antonijevic.
