"We are ready to support investors in hotels": Atanaskovic on Serbia-Egypt economic cooperation

Economy Minister Andjelka Atanaskovic spoke with an Egyptian delegation, led by the governor of South Sinai, Major General Khaled Fouda Saddiq, about the potential for economic cooperation and investment.
Atanaskovic placed special emphasis on cooperation in the field of hotel management and stressed the readiness to present investment opportunities to Egyptian investors, the Ministry of Economy announced.
"Our country has potential and we are ready to support investors who recognize that potential and who want to invest in hotels," Atanaskovic stressed, adding that the Ministry of Economy supports investment projects in the hotel industry.
Saddiq said that the fact that he is leading a large business delegation is one of the indicators that they are interested in cooperation, especially in the field of tourism, the statement added.
He expressed interest in improving aviation cooperation both by increasing the number of flights, and at the level of two airlines: Air Cairo and Air Serbia.
He also expressed readiness to present Serbia's tourist potential in Egypt.
The interlocutors agreed that traditionally good relations between Serbia and Egypt represent a good basis for improving economic cooperation.
