The news about Vanesa's death was announced by her family on Facebook.

The Information Department of the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs told TV Klan Kosova that they do not have official confirmation from the German authorities.
"The MFA is in constant communication with the German authorities through the Kosovo embassy in Germany and so far has not received confirmation from the competent authorities regarding the suspicion that two of our compatriots died in the floods," the ministry said in response to TV Klan Kosova.
