Delta strain of coronavirus reaches Serbia: Two persons who returned from abroad have it

The Ministry of Health on Thursday informed citizens that the Delta variant of coronavirus has been detected in Serbia in two of our nationals who recently returned from abroad.

Both patients are of a younger age. They are currently in stable general condition. They have not been vaccinated.
The sequencing was done at the Specialist Veterinary Institute in Kraljevo.
