Brnabic: Cluster 1 is opened, conditions for opening clusters 3 and 3 fulfilled

After last night's intergovernmental conference in Luxembourg, Prime Minister Ana Brnabic said that she could confirm that cluster 1 on core values ​​has been opened, which is among the most important within the new EU accession methodology, and that Serbia has fulfilled everything expected and required from it, and is asking to open clusters 3 and 4.

The prime minister stressed that Serbia continues with reforms with a focus on the rule of law and expressed hope that two more clusters would be opened during Slovenia's presidency of the EU, by the end of this year.

"We have heard from a significant number of member states that they will support us, while I guaranteed that this progress will continue, because we are doing everything we are for the sake of our country and the citizens of Serbia," concluded Brnabic.

She thanked Portugal for its presidency and support for Serbia on its path towards EU membership.
