Cacak hospital exits Covid system after 15 months: Only 7 coronavirus patients still treated there
Out of 197 people who got tested in the Moravica District during the past 24 hours, four were positive for coronavirus
Seven patients are currently hospitalized in Covid wards of the Cacak hospital. There are no patients in the respiratory center, while one patient died from the disease during the past 24 hours.
One patient has been admitted for hospital treatment, and one was discharged. 17 examinations of people with symptoms and signs of Covid have been performed in the admission-triage outpatient clinic of the General Hospital Cacak, of which ten were first examinations.
Out of 143 samples taken in Cacak, four have been positive, there have been none in Gornji Milanovac out of 24 samples, none in Lucani out of seven samples, and none in Ivanjica out of 23 samples. A total of four new cases have been discovered during the past day from 197 people who got tested in the district.
Yesterday, a total of 370 people got vaccinated, of which 41 with the first dose (one scheduled and 40 unscheduled vaccinations), while 329 people received the second dose of the vaccine.
After a long time, the Cacak hospital exited the Covid system, and on that occasion, nurses and technicians employed at the General Hospital and at the Healthcare Center in Cacak organized a gathering. For the past 15 months, they worked without taking annual leave, caring for infected patients and putting their lives and the lives of their families at risk.
"We offered everyone who worked in the Covid system at the General Hospital and the Healthcare Center to spend their summer vacation this year in our resort Ovcar in Ulcinj. It's a small sign of appreciation for everything they did fighting for the lives of our fellow citizens, but also for the lives of all those who needed help," said Milun Todorovic, the mayor of Cacak.
