Members of the police, the Service for the Fight against Organized Crime, the Police Administration for the City of Belgrade, in cooperation with the Security Information Agency and the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime, arrested four people suspected of being members of a criminal group organized by Dario Djordjevic aka Dekster (33), who was previously arrested by the Austrian police in Vienna.

According to information from Serbia's security services about ten kilograms of heroin were seized during the arrest.

On suspicion that they committed criminal acts of association for the purpose of committing criminal acts and unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics, the police arrested members of an organized criminal group: P.N. (32), S.R. (32), S.Z. (25) and O.T. (38), while they continue to look for two other persons.

During the search of 16 locations in the territory of Belgrade, the police found narcotics and expensive vehicles, one of which was armored, as well as a larger amount of cash.

The suspects are detained for up to 48 hours and will be brought to the competent prosecutor's office with a criminal complaint.

"President Vucic launched a war on the mafia and there are no untouchables in that fight. The breaking up of the organized criminal group of Dario Djordjevic, the seizure of a large amount of heroin, but also the breaking up of the drug smuggling chain represents great success of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the BIA and the Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime. Thanks to patient and persistent work of all our security structures, our streets are even safer. The arrest of Djordjevic in Vienna, based on information provided by the Ministry of the Interior to their Austrian colleagues, shows that police cooperation is the only way to fight against the evil," said Minister of the Interior Aleksandar Vulin.
