Continued production of Fiat 500L delayed again: When will workers in Kragujevac return to work?

The continuation of the production of the 500L vehicles in the factory "Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia" which was planned for this week, has been postponed until June 14, the Independent Trade Union of that factory has said.
Production workers were sent on paid leave on May 28 and were due to return to work on Tuesday, June 8. According to the union, "blue collars" had only five or six working days in May.
The president of the FCA Independent Trade Union, Sasa Djordjevic, said that he was not informed by the director of the company in Kragujevac about the reasons for postponing the continuation of production for June 14.
According to him, in the next two weeks, another group of FCA workers from Kragujevac is expected to travel to Slovakia, to spend a year working in a car factory, after voluntarily applying.
Djordjevic said that the union has no information from the management on how many workers will go to Slovakia.
