The morning after a series of horrific explosions, residents of the Pridvorica settlement in Cacak are still in shock. The most endangered families were evacuated during the night, and some are still unable to go back home.

"At first it sounded like some crackling, then terrible explosions began. We just crossed ourselves and went outside. The fire broke out later, we thought it would reach our house. It was quiet only around four in the morning, but we didn't sleep all night," Radoje Simeunovic from Pridvorica told RINA.

45 firefighters took part in localizing the fire.

No one was injured in the Sloboda defense industry plant during the night, all workers were evacuated in time because the explosion occurred in an ammunition warehouse located 800 meters away from production facilities.
