The fact is that Serbia does not lack natural beauty and that spring is an ideal time to travel around the country. Nature is waking up and it is time to make up for everything we have missed during the winter days.

In addition to rivers, lakes, mountains and other sights, our country also boasts beautiful scenic viewpoints, from which the view spreads into the distance, taking your breath away.

It's not easy to pick the most beautiful ones among the numerous scenic viewpoints in our country. Many offer unreal views of their surroundings.

And these are some of the gems of Serbian tourism...

Kozji Kamen

The scenic viewpoint overlooking Zavoj Lake is located at 1,181 meters above sea level. Kozji Kamen can be reached from Pirot, a town about 20 kilometers away.

An additional advantage is that a mountain trail leads to it, which is not demanding for hikers, so it can be used by recreationalists as well. Precisely because the ascent is not steep, this trail a little more than 3.5 kilometers long can be hiked quite easily.

Siljak

A mountain that attracts attention not only because of the landscapes that surround it, but also because of its shape. The Rtanj mountain also has one of the most beautiful scenic viewpoints in the country.

The peak called Siljak is located at an altitude of 1,561 meters.

The difference in the length of the trail on the south and on the north side is approximately one kilometer. For the most part both trails are not particularly demanding, except at the very end, so it is always a better option to go with organized climbing tours.

Ploce

If you want to enjoy the view of the Djerdap (Iron Gates) Gorge and the Danube River, the scenic viewpoint located above the gorge known as Mali Kazan is a great choice.

The trail that leads to the Ploce scenic viewpoint point, at 355 meters above sea level, is not demanding at all, so it can be easily mastered by those who have no hiking experience

Stol

This scenic viewpoint in Eastern Serbia which can rightly be ranked among the most beautiful in our country, is about 10 kilometers away from the town of Bor.

At an altitude of 1,155 meters is the highest peak of the Stol mountain. On average, the climb takes up to 4 hours and is worth the effort.

Kablar

The "Mount Athos" in Serbia, as the area of the Ovcar-Kablar gorge is often called, also boasts of one of the most beautiful scenic viewpoint in that part of Serbia.

The view towards the gorge and the Cacak valley, but also the meanders of the Zapadna Morava River leave many people breathless.

Although the scenic viewpoint is located at 885 meters, two of the five trails that lead to it are considered to be more demanding by mountaineers. That is why they usually take those, while recreationalists choose the easier trails.
