Loncar: "There is no evidence that any vaccine is harmful, or creates some consequences"

"Vaccination helps us and our loved ones and the system a lot in returning to normal life," said the minister

Replying to journalists about obligatory coronavirus vaccination of healthcare workers, Minister of Health Zlatibor Loncar said that a large number of them have already been immunized.

"We think of it as if a decision has already been made, so we already have 80 percent of vaccinated health workers. If we notice that percentage to be dropping, we will consider further steps. They are responsible and serious people, who set an example to others."

Also, Loncar announced that work would continue on vaccinating young people.

"We will work to explain to people that there is no evidence that any vaccine is harmful or has any consequences. Vaccination helps us and our loved ones and the system a lot in returning to normal life."

Another 440,000 doses of Sinopharm vaccines arrived in Serbia this morning from China.
