A traffic accident occurred in the village of Vranici near Cacak, on the road leading to Gornja Gorevnica, when a moving car caught on fire.

"We were passing along that part of the road and saw a burning car. There were firefighters who were trying to put out the flames," one of the eyewitnesses told RINA.
It is assumed that the fire was caused by faulty electrical wiring in the vehicle, and this is not an unusual occurrence on the roads.
"Such accidents occur more often if the vehicle has a gas engine. It happens that some hose burns down and then the fire spreads quickly. In diesel cars, such situations occur razely, only if the DPF filter gets clogged. Rarely, but it can happen, the battery explodes due to irregularities. That is why it's very important to service vehicles regularly," workers in a car shop explained.
No one was injured in the traffic accident in Vranici, while considerable material damage has been done.
