Vucic: Together with EU, we will build a fast railway from Belgrade to Nis
This is the second day of Aleksandar Vucic's visit to Brussels
President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic is currently in Brussels, where he is meeting with top EU officials to discuss regional relations, the rule of law, but also a large infrastructure project, after which, as he says, Serbia will no longer be the same.
As one of the most important meetings, Vucic singled out the one with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell.
When it comes to the economy, the president mentioned that "in the last ten years we managed to increase trade with the EU 2.5 times." According to him, it amounted to 10 billion euros in 2009, and today it is worth 25 billion euros.
"Together with the EU, we will build a fast railway from Belgrade to Nis. But, also to the border with North Macedonia, which I believe will really be a game changer," the president of Serbia stressed.
