Day train on the Bar-Belgrade-Bar line should be restart running on June 15
"I hope that we will be able to bring good news to railway customers, we are planning a campaign...", said a representative of the Railway Transport of Montenegro company
The day train traveling on the Bar-Belgrade-Bar line should restart on June 15, said the spokesperson of the Railway Transport of Montenegro (ZPCG), Ana Bozovic. According to her, if there is interest, it's possible that the train will be reintroduced earlier.
Bozovic told Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) this morning that in the run-up to the summer and the tourist season, local trains run according to the timetable, and they expect that the situation will return to normal on weekends as well. When it comes to international transport, for now, only the night train runs, departing Bar for Belgrade at 7 pm, and Topcider (Belgrade) at 9 pm.
She assessed the situation in Railways as complex. "It's very difficult to do business in such circumstances, but we hope and expect general stabilization and to soon return to normal functioning in every sense," she added.
Expecting the normalization of traffic, she says that the company is also working on campaigns. "I hope that we will be able to bring good news to railway customers, we are planning a campaign in cooperation with the Tourist Organization of Bar and the company Srbija Voz, we will soon have all the details and we will inform users of railway services about that."
"I hope that we will make them happy and that they will make use of the benefits of traveling by train," said Ana Bozovic and recalled that passengers cannot get on a train without wearing a mask. Also, maintaining physical distance must be taken into account.
