"Florentino Perez is an old jerk who will destroy football": Bogdanovic's anger over Super League!
In a conversation with Telegraf, the former national team player did not have nice words to share about the first man of the newly formed competition
Rade Bogdanovic, a former member of our country's football squad and a former Atletico Madrid player - one of the teams that accepted participation in the Super League - shared some strong language about the first man of this new competition.
Whenever Rade is a guest somewhere, all eyes are on that because he is one of the people who don't hold back and can speak openly and candidly about the world of football.
The man who played in some of the strongest leagues in the world, such as Spain and Germany, is very indignant now becauese the so-called European Super League is being set up in which some of his former clubs will also compete, and he shared his thoughts with Telegraf.
"With the arrival of Arabs and Americans in clubs and football, it was clear what would happen. Nothing new, I said it a long time ago that football will be divided into the rich and the poor, the rich will play, and the poor will be observers. Greed will prevail and the rich will take everything, while these others will have nothing left.
Football has become a race for money. Like when you give children a sugar candy, and they immediately take it and throw themselves on it. But then I ask, what will they play for?," Rade Bogdanovic said, in a disappointed tone.
He was especially harsh towards Florentino Perez, whom he believes is the biggest culprit behind the current events.
"He is an old jerk who would be better off walking by the river, taking care of his grandchildren, if he has any. Let him use what little time he has left in a nice way, rather than ruining the football we all love," Rade Bogdanovic told Telegraf.
Apart from Atletico Madrid, Rade Bogdanovic also played for Zeleznicar, Breda, Pohang, Werder... And he even played three games for the national team of Yugoslavia, scoring two goals.
