Starting today, gardens of cafes and restaurants will be open, but only at 50 percent capacity. As Dr. Predrag Kon, an epidemiologist and a member of the Crisis HQ for the fight against coronavirus explained yesterday, there must be a distance of two meters between patrons, not between the tables, while masks must also be worn.

He added that the corrections of the measures imply that hospitality establishments can work outdoors at 50 percent capacity.

"That would be an introduction to a little more serious respect for the measures, because had we respected those most basic measures, we would not have had to shut down in the first place," concluded Kon.

The opening hours of all facilities, including those that are already working and those that will reopen starting today, will be extended to until 10 pm.

This applies to grocery stores, hairdressers and beauty salons, gyms, spas, which until today could stay open until 8 pm.

Cultural institutions - cinemas, theaters, galleries, libraries - will also be able to stay open until 10 pm. Cultural institutions were until Monday closing at 9 pm.

Shopping malls, which have been closed for several weeks, will not reopen today, while it will be considered during the week when they might reopen and under what conditions.

All high school and senior grades elementary school students will continue with online classes in the coming period. They can, in controlled and safe conditions, go to school only to be graded.
