The session of the Crisis HQ for the fight against coronavirus will be held today starting at 4 pm, Telegraf.rs has learned.

After analyzing the epidemiological situation and the effect of the current measures, the members will consider the possibility of allowing hospitality establishments to open their gardens.

Prime Minister Ana Brnabic also announced that a meeting of the Crisis HQ would be held today at 4 pm.

"We will talk about how much it is possible to relax the measures, because we see a stagnation in the number of new cases, even a slight decline," Brnabic said for TV Pink.

She said that she would meet with the expert part of the HQ beforehand in order to consider the easing of the measures as much as possible.

She told TV Pink that there is a stagnation even a slight drop in the number of new coronavirus cases in Belgrade, that has the most vaccinated citizens.

"We will address the public after the session of the Crisis HQ. I will listen to the doctors and we will try to find some balance," said Brnabic.

She said that there will be an attempt to relax the measures a little more, which are now among the softest compared to the rest of Europe - but that we will be careful to continue with the results because, although the numbers of newly infected people are high, they are quite good.

"We see a stagnation, even a slight decline, but we must not jeopardize that," Brnabic stressed.
