From Belgrade to Montenegro in 2 hours and 15 minutes: In May, signature for 107 kilometers of road
The Laz tunnel is the most difficult to build
After the completion of the section of the highway from Preljina to Pozega, which should happen at the end of December, citizens will travel from Uzice to Belgrade in about an hour and 45 minutes.
The Laz tunnel is the most difficult to build, but it will be of great importance to everyone who lives in the Moravica and Zlatibor districts, but also to everyone who lives in western Serbia, especially because of the road to Montenegro.
For that reason, as announced today, preconditions for further construction will be accelerated.
"In May, we are signing a contract to build an additional 107 kilometers from Pozega to Boljare, it will take 2 hours and 15 minutes to reach the border with Montenegro from Belgrade," said President Aleksandar Vucic, who today toured the works.
Vucic also announced that the construction of a bypass around Uzice will begin by September.
"By September, you will see a large number of workers who will start working on the bypass," Vucic told reporters in Cacak, when asked when works to build the bypass would be launched.
Vucic also announced a complete renovation of the Healthcare Center in Uzice, a project worth 30 million euros.
