Tiodorovic reveals for how long existing measures could be extended
Professor Branislav Tiodorovic says that the medical part of the Crisis HQ knows that "a couple of days" of stricter anti-Covid measures is not the solution, that it will not produce a sufficient result and that it is therefore necessary to extend the measures
Branislav Tiodorovic, a member of the Crisis HQ for the fight against the coronavirus, said that the stricter epidemiological measures will likely be extended. He also said that the proposal of the medical part of the HQ is that these measures should be in force until March 29.
"Our proposal will be that the measures we have now should be in force until March 29, and we'll see what will happen at the Crisis HQ. At this moment, we must reduce everything to what's necessary, and that is food, medicine, fuel, in order to save people's lives, because without health and people, there is no economy, either," said epidemiologist Tiodorovic.
Speaking for the daily Kurir he stressed that the medical part of the Crisis HQ knows that "a couple of days" of stricter anti-Covid measures is not the solution, that it will not produce a sufficient result and that it is therefore necessary to extend the measures.
