Member of the Crisis HQ for the fight against coronavirus Professor Dr. Branislav Tiodorovic said today that a new shortening (of opening hours) for a week and another weekend with cafes and restaurants closed is necessary.

"Without seven to 10 days we cannot have any effects. According to the epidemiological doctrine, it is necessary to have as many as three weeks to implement rigorous measures. We will maintain the same attitude tomorrow, in favor of intensive restrictions, very rigorous for all facilities, what remains to be assessed is whether (closing times) will be 2 or 5 pm," Dr. Tiodorovic told Pink TV.

As he announced, we will probably have all-day closures next Saturday and Sunday.

"I know that many won't like it, but we have to make a decision, to endure at least seven days so that the situation gets under control and so that we can live and work im a more relaxed manner," he explained.
