Who is more likely to report unwanted reactions to coronavirus vaccines in Serbia

As of yesterday, a total of 261 cases of unwanted reactions after vaccination against coronavirus were reported in Serbia, said Pavle Zelic from the Agency for Drugs and Medical Devices (ALIMS), adding that this is a very small number, bearing in mind the total number of vaccinated citizens in our country.

He said that side effects after vaccination can be expected, but that it's important that there have not been long-term consequences.

"So far we have not had anything to worrying. Everything that has happened so far would get resolved within a few days," Zelic told Pink TV, Tanjug is reporting.

He said that side effects can manifest as fever, pain at the injection site, swelling, redness, muscle and joint pain, headache, nausea... and added that these were mostly reported by citizens aged 45 to 64, more often by women.

"There is no reason for anyone to give up on the vaccine because they are afraid of the side effects, well we've all been getting vaccines from a young age and know that some mark had to come out, that you could get a headache," said Zelic.

He said that we should not be afraid of the vaccine because each is valid, effective and safe.
