State aid for large companies as well, plus more minimum wages for tourism: The package expands
Banks and financial institutions are left out
A new package of state aid for the economy will also include assistance to large companies in Serbia, and probably another payment of the minimum wage for tourist industry workers, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has said.
Vucic said that he asked the Government and the minister of finance to include big companies, except banks and financial institutions, into the assistance package.
"I believe that they will adopt that," said Vucic. He added that the new aid package will be presented by the end of the week and should include large companies, as well as the tourism sector. Most likely, he said, the latter will happen in the form of a minimum wage payment.
